Learning Support Assistant - SEN

A specialist school based near Walton on ThamesSurrey is working with Teaching Personnel to find compassionate, committed people to join their education support team. This school provides an educational journey tailored to the needs of their pupils with Autism and associated needs.

Qualifications are not essential, however, experience/interest in supporting pupils with Autism is important, and a commitment to the role on a long-term basis is essential.

The school for children aged 11-16, provides personalised timetables for the pupils who are taught in small classes. The school is able to provide education and support specific to each child’s needs, and alongside their academic journey, the aim and purpose of the provision is to support pupils in addressing any emotional, behavioural and social difficulties which affect their development and to help them with their resilience. 

  • Hours: 8:30-16:00 (Monday to Friday)
  • Pay: £12.90 hourly +

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
