Location: Totton, Hampshire We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a dynamic team at a school in Southampton. This role is based in a local school supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. The role will involve behaviour management, implementing personalised learning plans and having a person-centred, trauma-informed approach. Young people have been placed in the school as they have struggled to access mainstream education due to additional or complex needs. A strong candidate will show good safeguarding knowledge, crisis management and, most importantly, a friendly and confident personality. About the Role:As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who need additional support, helping them to engage in the curriculum, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. You will work in a supportive environment where collaboration with teachers, other LSAs, and support staff is key to meeting the diverse needs of our students. Your role will include:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
