Learning Support Assistant
Location: Shepton Mallet | Somerset
Pay: £90 - £93 per day
Hours: Full-Time | Term Time Only

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in Shepton Mallet, offering a unique opportunity to join a small, supportive team making a real difference every day.

We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join on a full-time, term-time basis—perfect for someone who wants a rewarding role where no two days are the same.
You’ll work closely with students on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage in learning, build confidence, and overcome challenges.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Confident, resilient, and calm under pressure
  • Patient, caring, and genuinely passionate about supporting young people
  • Comfortable working 1:1
  • Committed to making a positive, lasting impact

Experience in SEND or similar roles is helpful, but not essential, your attitude and approach are what matter most.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
