Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role?


Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a specialist SEN provision inside a mainstream primary school. This hub supports children who require a more tailored timetable, with small class sizes of approximately 8 pupils, ensuring each child receives focused, personalised support.

The Candidate

  • Must have experience working with children with additional needs
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
  • Confident supporting pupils with a range of SEN
  • Experience within mainstream or SEN settings is highly desirable
  • Ability to follow tailored learning plans and work closely with the class teacher and SENCO

 

Core Aims of the Role

  • Support pupils with varying additional needs, both academically and emotionally
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
  • Assist in delivering tailored activities and interventions
  • Help promote independence and confidence among pupils
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
