Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Flexible – Full-time and Part-time available

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in SEN primary schools across Portsmouth. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with special educational needs and make a real difference to their learning and development.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, both one-to-one and in small groups

• Assist the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour support

• Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

• A caring, patient, and positive attitude

• An Enhanced DBS on the Child Workforce Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

• The ability to work flexibly and adapt to different school environments
