Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in SEN primary schools across Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate and caring individuals who are eager to support children with special educational needs in a rewarding school environment.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

• Working one-to-one or in small groups

• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour support

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
