Pay: £13.75 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting young people in education? Teaching Personnel is seeking reliable, flexible Ad Hoc Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across schools in the Portsmouth area. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy variety, want to gain experience in different educational settings, or need flexible working hours.
Role Overview
As an Ad Hoc LSA, you will:

Provide one-to-one or small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs

Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation
-
Adapt learning activities to meet student needs
-
Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Work on a day-to-day or short-notice basis depending on school requirements
What We’re Looking For

Experience in a school, SEN, care, or youth-work environment is highly beneficial
-
A patient, supportive, and proactive attitude
-
Strong communication skills
-
Flexibility and reliability
-
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
