We are currently working on behalf of an SEN School which cateres for children aged 7-16 with a range needs including: Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties and Disabilities, Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties, associated behavioural difficulties and Prader Willi Syndrome.
The School focus on Maths and English, however they also focus on life skills too (maily in afternoons) - this includes animal care, sports, gardening and money management.
We are looking for a TA/LSA with experience of supporting children with SEND, ideally in a specialist setting.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience with SEN
- Previous experience in SEND setting such as a SEN School, Residential home or youth work
- Nurturing attitude
- Able to motivate and engage disengaged students
- Available 5 days a week
The School can offer you a welcoming and supportive team. The successful candidate will support learning in a class of up to 4 children under the direction of the class teacher as well as whole school activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
