Learning Support Assistant – Special Educational Needs (Liverpool)

A welcoming and inclusive SEN school in the Liverpool area is looking for a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their primary team. The school prides itself on providing high-quality education and care, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
Your Role:

Support small groups of children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Deliver tailored support based on individual needs and abilities.

Assist in creating and implementing personalised learning plans.

Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals.

Take part in training and ongoing professional development.
About You:
-
Experience working with children (SEN experience desirable).
-
Understanding of the challenges faced by students with EHCPs.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
-
Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a proactive attitude.
-
Relevant education or child development qualifications are a plus but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
