Intervention Teaching Assistant

-          £11.85-12.50 per hour

-          Part/Full time options (depending on candidate)

-          Intervention TA (Maths, English, Reading and Writing)

-          Start January 2024

-          Long-term placement

A school on the outskirts of Liverpool are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who can also deliver intervention sessions to a variety of pupils across KS1 and KS2. The intervention sessions will be mainly focused on Maths, English, Reading and Writing.

The intervention sessions will involve taking small groups (4-5 pupils) out of the classroom to offer sessions to close gaps in knowledge. The class teacher will aid the successful candidate to identify areas for targeting and plan the work accordingly.

Experience as a experience supporting pupils with gaps in knowledge is essential.

This role is also suitable for educators who are Teachers, ECTs and HLTAs, as well as English or Maths graduates.

This role is to start ASAP and will run until at least after the Christmas holidays.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
