Are you a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role? Teaching Personnel is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil in a secondary school in the Bournemouth area.
About the Role:
Location: Bournemouth
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Salary: Competitive, 89.90-£110
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them to fully access learning
- Assisting with classroom activities and personalised learning plans
- Encouraging social interaction and supporting emotional regulation
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
✔ Previous experience working with children with SEND or additional needs (preferred but not essential)
✔ A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach
✔ The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
✔ An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
