Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £80.92 - £95.68 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time/Permanent

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in providing tailored support to students with additional learning needs. Working closely with teachers and SENCOs, you will help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, encouraging student confidence and independence.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate individual learning styles.
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, promoting self-regulation and resilience.
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents where necessary.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or support capacity.
- A genuine passion for helping children with additional learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school setting.
- An updated CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained).
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
