We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive SEN provision in Harrogate. The school provides specialist support for pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH).

Your Role:

• Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and engaged.

• Help pupils access learning through differentiated support and adaptive communication strategies.

• Assist with personal care, moving & handling, and sensory regulation activities when needed.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school, SEN, or care setting.

• Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

• Reliable, empathetic, and confident supporting pupils with complex needs.

• Moving & Handling or Team Teach training desirable (training can be provided).
