I am looking to recruit a long term SEND Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Streatham, London. This is a role where you will be employed at the school through teaching personnel

This is an Ofsted rated 'Good' school seeking to recruit a primary Learning Support Assistant. This is a great opportunity to work with a child who has global delay and needs 121 support. The school is well managed, encouraging a lifelong love of learning. The school promotes self-discipline and a positive approach to behaviour.

Person Specification - Primary Learning Support Teaching Assistant.

I would encourage graduates and experienced Teaching Assistants to apply. To be successful in your application you must be able to provide sufficient references.

You must have a natural approach to teaching, inspiring young learners and maintaining high expectations in regards to attainment and personal development of all students. You will be experienced and or comfortable working with pupils with special educational needs such as dyslexia and autism (ASD). You will work one to one and in small groups to raise attainment.

In this exciting and challenging Primary Learning Support Assistant position you will be working 121 with a primary aged child who has global delay. You will be expected to engage the child with their learning and monitor pupil progress closely, ensuring that the child maximises their learning potential. You will work closely alongside the class teacher to follow the class planning, lessons and activities.
