Learning Assistant – Cwmbran
Location: Cwmbran, South Wales
Start Date: 5th January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: From £13.75 per hour / £89.38 per day

About the Role – Learning Assistant (Cwmbran)
As a key member of our Learning Support Team, you will:
• Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that helps students feel confident and engaged.
• Provide personalised support to individual learners and small groups, helping them overcome barriers and celebrate success.
• Assist with preparing and adapting learning materials across a range of curriculum subjects.
• Work closely with teachers to support classroom routines, assessment, and feedback.

This Learning Assistant role is ideal for someone enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about making a difference in education.

What We Require
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A valid DBS certificate (or be willing to apply for one — we can support you with this).
• Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council — we can guide you through the process).
• A commitment to helping shape a child’s future and making a real difference every   day.
• Two most recent references.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Personal experience and transferable skills that demonstrate your ability to support, communicate, and build positive relationships with children and young people.
