KS2 Year 3 General Teaching Assistant – Oldham (OL1)
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, looking for work in the Oldham area?
An Oldham-based primary school, are working closely with Teaching Personnel, in search for a Teaching Assistant to work with their Year 3 class. The successful candidate will experienced in working with children and confident in strategies of support, to boost their academic attainment. This educator with also be responsible in supporting children to develop their social and emotional skill. Candidates will be working closely with the Year 3 class teacher, building positive and trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents alike. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday to Friday, with a September start.
The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to aid pupils with basic core subject knowledge in Maths, Reading and Writing. This role also provides opportunities working with pupils on a more concentrated basis to boost attainment through interventions, and 1:1 support.
The Role:
- Full-time role
- Monday-Friday, approx. 8:30am – 3:30pm,
- Paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel,
- £77+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid on a weekly basis
- Located in the Oldham area (OL1)
- Accessible via public transport and has on-site parking

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
