KS2 Teaching Assistant
Rotherham
Start date: ASAP
Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a skilled Teaching Assistant to our fantastic School in Rotherham. The successful applicant will join the School in February 2019 and will be required until the end of the academic year. The school wish to appoint for this position permanently, therefore successful applicants have the opportunity to stay as a permanent member of staff.
The successful Teaching Assistant will specifically support students and teachers across the School to provide individualised intervention for those students that are falling behind. They will join schools SEN and Inclusion team and will support the academic and social needs of identified pupils. This will be done through in-class support and working with small groups of students and 1:1.
Our partner school welcomes applications from enthusiastic and inspirational graduates who enjoy working as part of a team and wish to develop their skills in a school environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain the experience needed to progress towards a teaching career. Experience of working with Primary aged students/students with KS2 is desirable but not essential as candidates who are appointed will receive full support and training from colleagues and Teachers.
Our partner school is a small successful Primary school with around 220 pupils on roll. The school is located in Rotherham.
