KS2 Teaching Assistant

Part-time TA – Mornings – Portsmouth

Our partner school require a flexible, tenacious TA to work part-time in an ‘outstanding’ & well-resourced primary school. The role is for an ideally, experienced TA to work across KS2 supporting the classes for a few mornings a week. This will cover a variety of subjects and activities but will mostly be 1:1 comprehension support, reading & writing support, and behavioural management. Some classes may require your role to be 1:1 focussed so experience in offering supplementary and in-class learning is preferential. Inexperienced applicants will be considered based on their experience but may not be suitable.

There is a chance that effective support and pupil development success may lead to more opportunities in the school. However, Teaching Personnel work with the majority of schools in Hampshire so this particular part-time role, may offer on part of your full-time employment with us.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
