KS2 Teaching Assistant

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team in a welcoming primary school based in the CF3 area of Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and making a positive difference every day.

What we’re looking for:
✅ Someone with any experience working with children (in schools, clubs, coaching, volunteering, etc.).
✅ A background in sports, coaching, or physical activities is a huge plus, but not essential.
✅ A positive, nurturing, and patient approach when working with children.
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✅ An adaptable and flexible mindset, ready to help in and out of the classroom.

What you’ll do:
Support KS2 children with learning across the curriculum.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering activities.
Build strong relationships with students to help boost their confidence and engagement.
Lead or support sports, playground, or enrichment activities as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
