Job Description

Teaching personnel are currently looking for a teaching assistant to provide general support in upper key stage 2, to one of our local schools located in Great Lever. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant with substantial school-based experience to join this successful and truly inclusive school. The ideal candidate must share our passion for education as the school has a great emphasis on working hard, aiming high and having fun together. You must be resilient and dedicated to making a difference as this school has a large proportion of EAL and disadvantaged children, who require support and care to achieve the best educational results possible. You will be working alongside a committed and experienced team to deliver in class learning support on a 121 basis and in small groups. This position will be offered on a full-time basis until the end of the school year, with the potential of becoming permanent depending on performance. Competitive weekly pay depending on qualifications and experience.

The ideal candidate:

• Has substantial experience of working in a school setting
• Is energetic and enthusiastic, caring and dedicated
• Is organised and be able to use their own initiative
• Can work as part of a team and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Is comfortable with SEN and behavioural support
• A passion to help children go above and beyond
• Keen eye to succeed
• Someone who goes above and beyond what is expected

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
