KS2 Teaching assistant, Full time, Primary, Brixton

A primary school in Brixton have approached Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading supply agency, for help with the recruitment of a Teaching Assistant with recent Key Stage 2 experience to begin work on a full-time basis following the October half-term holiday.

The Role…

The successful candidate will be based in the Year 5 class. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing lesson resources
• Carrying out administrative tasks
• Supporting small groups of children during lessons
• Creating displays
• Assisting the Class Teacher in the management of behaviour
• Delivering interventions

You will be appointed on a full-time basis (8:30 - 3:30, Mon - Fri) on a temporary contract following the October half-term holiday until the end of the academic year, with a possibility of gaining a permanent contract following a successful period of probation.

To be successful in your application for this role, you must have:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
• Recent experience working alongside pupils in upper Key Stage 2
