Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous Teaching Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Passion for Teaching
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate

Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proactive and able to initiate innovative teaching methods
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Adaptable to different learning styles and classroom environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with Key Stage 2 students
