A 'Good' Primary School in Accrington are looking to appoint a vibrant and dedicated Teacher to work in their 'lively' Year 4 Class. The position is to start from September 2019 due to unexpected leave of absence. The role consists of delivering high quality and engaging lessons which follow the National Curriculum. Due to the nature of the class, it is crucial the successful candidate can deliver lessons in an interactive and interesting way. The Class is a mixed ability Class, due to this the Practitioner must be able to differentiate core subjects efficiently, and baring in mind the Year 4 Teaching Assistant is responsible for working with a group.
The Head Teacher has noted she wants to employ a Teacher to bring fun into the classroom and has stated that the general behaviour of the school is 'Good', however, the Year 4 class can be quite 'Challenging' but are more than 'eager and willing to learn and are very well mannered children'. Strong Behaviour Management is crucial and the Head wants to appoint a Teacher who is spritely and enthusiastic.
The School is located outside of Accrington Town Centre and has easily accessible bus routes nearby if you do not drive, however, if you do drive, parking at the school is spacious. The position is Full time Monday to Friday, working 6.5 hours a day.
