KS2 Teacher (Maternity Cover) - September Start
Position: KS2 Teacher
Location: Black Country
Contract: Temporary (1 year, Maternity Cover)
Pay: Starting from £150/day for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and £165/day for qualified candidates outside of ECT period.
Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to work at an ofsted rated 'Good' school based in the Black Country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for KS2-aged children.
- Support the social, emotional, and educational development of all children in your care.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and the wider school team to ensure each child’s needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and provide feedback on children's development.
- Support children with special educational needs and adapt teaching accordingly.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS2
- A passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and independently.
- Knowledge of KS2 framework.
- Previous experience in a KS2 or early years setting is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
