KS2 Teacher (Part-Time) – Salisbury
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Long-term, 3 days per week
Pay: Paid to scale (M1–M6)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Salisbury to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher for a long-term position starting in January 2026.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school community, teaching a lively and motivated KS2 class. The role includes full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, delivery, assessment, and marking, so you will be paid according to your Main Pay Scale (M1–M6).
The position is 3 days per week, making it ideal for an experienced teacher seeking a part-time commitment or a strong practitioner looking to achieve a better work-life balance.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching within KS2
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and engaging teaching practice
- Show commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
Recruitment Process
All educators will be initially vetted through Teaching Personnel, which includes:
- An informal interview with a recruitment consultant
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Completion of safeguarding and vetting checks
- Safeguarding and Prevent training (provided by Teaching Personnel if required)
Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for a school-based interview, which may also include a lesson observation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
