Key Stage 2 Class Teacher – Permanent Position
Location: Lambeth, South London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS1–UPS3 (Inner London) – £36,745 to £56,959
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
A vibrant and inclusive two-form entry primary school in the heart of Lambeth is seeking a committed and inspirational Key Stage 2 Teacher to join its experienced and supportive team from September 2025. The position is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners who are passionate about delivering a high-quality education to all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.

Maintain high expectations for all pupils in terms of behaviour and academic achievement.

Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, ensuring that all children are supported and challenged effectively.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support pupil learning and wellbeing.

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, school trips and events.
The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective teaching strategies in Key Stage 2.

Have excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive education.

Show a willingness to contribute to the wider school community and support school improvement priorities.

Be reflective, enthusiastic and committed to their own professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
