Primary Class Teacher – Key Stage 2 – Haringey
Location: Haringey, North London
Position: Primary Class Teacher (KS2)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS1–MPS6 (Inner London): £36,745 – £47,666
A welcoming and ambitious two-form entry primary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join the team from September 2025. This is a permanent opportunity within a vibrant and supportive setting that values inclusive practice, high standards, and staff wellbeing.

This role is open to experienced teachers and confident ECTs with a genuine passion for primary education and a desire to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging, well-differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

Creating a warm, safe, and purposeful classroom environment that promotes progress for all pupils

Using formative and summative assessment to inform planning and raise attainment

Maintaining positive behaviour through consistent routines and clear expectations

Working closely with year group partners, phase leaders, and teaching assistants

Participating in wider school initiatives, including enrichment activities and parental engagement
The ideal candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective classroom practice in Key Stage 2
-
Be committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching that meets the needs of all learners

Have excellent communication skills and a reflective, proactive attitude

Value collaboration and be keen to contribute to school improvement priorities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
