Role: KS2 Supply Teacher

Schedule: Flexible

Location: Halewood (L25)

Start Date: October 2025

Pay Rate: £120-£232.56 per day (depending on experience)

 

 

A vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Halewood, Merseyside, is seeking a dedicated and adaptable KS2 Supply Teacher to join the team on a flexible basis starting in October 2025. The school provides a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. It offers a broad and balanced curriculum, supported by a team of passionate educators committed to fostering a love of learning. The school benefits from strong community ties and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.

The KS2 Supply Teacher role offers the opportunity to work across various year groups within Key Stage 2, providing high quality teaching and maintaining continuity for students. As a supply teacher, the successful candidate will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and contribute to the school’s positive learning environment.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work, with the ability to respond to the varying needs of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
