Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: M1-M6, dependant on experience
Are you a passionate and resilient educator ready to make a significant impact in the lives of young learners? An alternative provision school in Burnley is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their dynamic team, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role:
You will be working in a Key Stage 1–4 Alternative Provision school committed to providing high-quality education to pupils aged 5–16 who have found mainstream settings challenging. The school’s mission is to deliver outstanding education that fosters confidence, resilience, and employability, enabling pupils to achieve their potential. They offer personalised pathways tailored to individual needs, focusing on core subjects and vocational education, preparing students for further education, employment, or training.
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver a bespoke curriculum addressing specific gaps in pupils' knowledge and enhancing their social and emotional well-being.
- Teach in small groups, allowing for individualised support and bespoke interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Engage with parents, carers, and external agencies to support each pupil's educational journey.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS2.
- Proven ability to engage and inspire pupils with SEMH needs.
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
