KS2 Primary Teacher - South Peterborough

We are looking for an experienced, Fully Qualified Primary Teacher to take on a part time KS2 cover position in a fantastic school based in South Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. As long as you hold QTS and can work on a part-time basis, we encourage you to apply!

The position is 3 days a week, with an additional afternoon allowing for PPA time. In your role, you will be teaching a full capacity class of mixed year 5 & 6 pupils and supporting them through their final stages of Primary Education.

The school is large, 3 form entry, and received an overall 'Good' rating from OFSTED. You will also have the additional support of a Qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant who will be working 1:1 alongside pupils who require additional support.

Ideal applicants will also be required to:

• Support children with challenging behaviour
• Have their own transport
• Have a professional level of classroom management skills
• Possess Extensive knowledge of the curriculum
• Be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn
• Engage and motivate pupils by making classes interactive and stimulating
