Job Title: KS2 Outreach Tutor

Location: East of England, Essex, South Ockendon

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging KS2 educational outreach sessions
  • Provide one-on-one and group tutoring to primary school students
  • Create and implement tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in KS2 education and tutoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring KS2 students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
  • Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in special education or subject-specific areas
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Work full-time hours on a flexible schedule
  • Engage in tutoring at learners homes or local libraries

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
