KS2 Class Teacher – Wavertree (L15)

A Primary School in Wavertree is seeking a full-time Key Stage 2 (KS2) Class Teacher to join their team. The role is due to begin in March 2026 and will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a central role in inspiring, supporting and challenging students to reach their full potential.


Role Summary

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the varied needs of KS2 pupils.
  • Create and maintain an inclusive, positive classroom environment where every child feels supported and valued.
  • Assess, track and evaluate pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their continued development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the wider school curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.
  • Uphold the school’s ethos and values, promoting a safe, respectful and nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience of teaching KS2 pupils or a strong interest in working within Key Stage 2.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil achievement.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to adapt to evolving teaching practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
