KS1 Tutor – Primary School, Woolton (L25)

Are you passionate about education and helping young learners reach their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated KS1 Tutor to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Woolton (L25).

About the Role:

  • Position: KS1 Tutor
  • Location: Woolton, Liverpool (L25)
  • Contract: Part-time / Full-time (flexible options available)
  • Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
  • Start Date: ASAP

As a KS1 Tutor, you will provide targeted support to children in Key Stage 1, helping to build their confidence and develop core skills in literacy, numeracy, and phonics. You will work closely with classroom teachers to deliver tailored interventions and ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and structured learning sessions in line with the KS1 curriculum.

Support small groups and individual students to reinforce classroom learning.

Assess progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.

Collaborate with teachers and parents to enhance student development.

Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with KS1 students (as a tutor, teaching assistant, or teacher).

Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, including phonics schemes.

A passion for supporting young learners and boosting their confidence.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A relevant teaching qualification (desirable but not essential).

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
