Job description

Are you passionate about supporting children in their early years of education? Do you have experience working with phonics and helping pupils to build strong foundations in reading and writing? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Worthing area. This is a full-time position with an immediate or upcoming start.

The Role

  • Working alongside class teachers to support children in KS1.

  • Delivering targeted support in phonics and early literacy.

  • Assisting with small group work and 1:1 interventions.

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Experience supporting KS1 pupils (school-based experience desirable).

  • Strong knowledge of phonics and the ability to deliver effective support.
