Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

About the Role
Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely primary school in the BH10 area who are looking for a caring and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
You’ll be supporting children in Years 1 and 2, helping them build confidence and develop key skills in a positive and supportive classroom environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the teacher with engaging KS1 lessons
- Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting with phonics, reading, writing, and early maths
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupil wellbeing
- Supporting children with SEND where needed
- Helping to keep the classroom organised and running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (school experience desirable)
- A positive, patient, and adaptable approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Desirable
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience with phonics programmes or SEND support
- Unqualified candidates with relevant experience are welcome

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
