Year 2 Teaching Assistant - Romford

Teaching Personnel is working with a Catholic Primary School based in Romford (just a 15 minute walk from Romford tube station) that are recruiting for a TA to support to in a Year 2 class. If successful, this role will start in September 2020, with the chance to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The School:

The Primary School is located in Romford RM1 and has an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED report. The school is a highly successful independent all girls school, which was recently awarded the number one prize for small independent schools by The Sunday Times. The school place a heavy onus on extra-curricular development for their students and so, frequently arrange guest speakers to visit. Recently they have had talks from their local MP, scientists and authors! It is a one form entry establishment, with small class sizes and has a family feel! The teachers are hugely supported by subject specialists (there are French and Spanish teachers who lead MFL lessons) and Teaching Assistants.

The Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a KS2 classroom.
  • Must be passionate, enthusiastic and hard-working.
  • Dedicated to making a genuine change to the lives of students with different backgrounds.

GBP60-GBP85 Daily pay

Requirements:

  • You must be able to Interview and Trial for Longer Term Positions
  • You must also be in possession of a Child Workforce DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willing to apply for one.
  • Two references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
