Year 1 Key Stage 1 Teacher - Experienced or Newly Qualified – Full Time - Westbury On Trym

Are you a dynamic and inspirational teacher looking to join a committed, forward thinking team?

Teaching Personnel have an exciting position that has come up in one of our partnership schools in the Westbury On Trym area of Bristol. This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school is requiring a Year 1 Key Stage 1 Teacher for the upcoming term.

As a Year 1 Teacher you will be a leader of learning within this class. You will need to provide a carefully structured and thorough education experience which enables pupils to achieve their academic and personal potential and to develop skills to aid them in their future paths. You will need to be able to provide a high level of pastoral care and be able to identify warning signs and issues that may affect your pupil’s wellbeing.

Successful candidate specification –

  • Must hold NQT
  • Previous experience within Key Stage 2 is desirable
  • Good understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Enhanced up to date DBS (Teaching Personnel can give you guidance on how to do this.)
  • Passionate and engaging personality
