Job Title: KS1 Teacher

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £140 - £180 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development and training sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and pedagogy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with young children in a school setting. The working hours are typically during school hours, Monday to Friday. The environment may be fast-paced and require flexibility and adaptability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
