Job Title: Year 2 Class Teacher
Location: East Sussex
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for helping young learners thrive? Our warm and welcoming primary school in the heart of East Sussex is seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher to join our committed and caring team from September 2025.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that support every child to achieve their full potential in Key Stage 1. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school community that values creativity, high expectations, and a nurturing learning environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has experience teaching in KS1, preferably in Year 2

  • Is passionate about making learning exciting and meaningful

  • Has excellent classroom management and strong interpersonal skills

  • Is committed to inclusive education and raising standards for all learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
