KS1 Teacher – Sheffield & Barnsley | Immediate & September 2025 Starts

Are you a passionate and committed KS1 Teacher ready for a new opportunity in Sheffield or Barnsley? We are working with a range of friendly and supportive primary schools who are seeking Key Stage 1 Teachers to join their teams for immediate and September 2025 starts.


Locations: Sheffield & Barnsley

Role: KS1 Class Teacher (Year 1 or Year 2 based on experience)

Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

⏰ Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time | Long-Term, Temp-to-Perm


✏️ Your Role Will Include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure pupil success

✅ What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a KS1 setting
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics delivery
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
