Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the Portslade area, seeking an experienced Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive team after February half term.

The Role:

• Supporting learning across KS1 in a nurturing and structured environment

• Working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons

• Providing targeted support for individuals and small groups

• Supporting early literacy, phonics, numeracy, and social development

• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  
  

The Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent, recent KS1 experience (essential)

• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early childhood development

• Calm, patient, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for supporting young learners

• Confident working as part of a collaborative school team

• Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
