KS1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Primary School – Portslade area
Start date: After February half term
⏰ Full-time (term time only)
Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the Portslade area, seeking an experienced Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive team after February half term.

The Role:

Supporting learning across KS1 in a nurturing and structured environment

Working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
-
Providing targeted support for individuals and small groups
-
Supporting early literacy, phonics, numeracy, and social development
-
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Excellent, recent KS1 experience (essential)
-
A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early childhood development
-
Calm, patient, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for supporting young learners

Confident working as part of a collaborative school team
-
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
