KS1 General Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Wavertree
Hours: 8:30am – 3:00pm | Term Time Only
Pay: £13.75 per hour | Weekly Pay
Enhanced DBS Required


About the Role:
A well-regarded primary school in the Liverpool area is seeking a nurturing and approachable General Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting pupils in EYFS to KS1. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to help create a positive and engaging learning environment, both inside and outside the classroom.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in education or to continue building a career in a school setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to the teacher and assist with the daily running of lessons.
  • Support pupils’ learning and help reinforce key concepts through targeted interventions.
  • Assist with phonics, literacy, and numeracy activities.
  • Adapt support strategies to meet the individual needs of pupils.
  • Maintain a calm and supportive presence in the classroom.
