About the Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking a motivated, nurturing, and creative KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Thorne, Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about early learning and committed to helping young pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum, supporting pupils of mixed abilities, and fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills and the ability to build warm, supportive relationships with children and colleagues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

  • Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment that supports pupil progress

  • Differentiate learning to meet diverse pupil needs

  • Maintain positive behaviour and engagement

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within KS1

  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young learners
