Teaching Personnel is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Southwark. This role begins in September 2025 and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing Key Stage 1 environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Carry out regular assessments to track student progress and inform planning.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to support learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, or additional needs.
- Foster strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents/carers, and the wider school community.
- Take part in ongoing professional development opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- KS1 experience – especially in Year 2
- The ability to plan engaging lessons that meet all learners’ needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
