Teaching Personnel is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Southwark. This role begins in September 2025 and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing Key Stage 1 environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Carry out regular assessments to track student progress and inform planning.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies to support learning.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, or additional needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents/carers, and the wider school community.
  • Take part in ongoing professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
  • KS1 experience – especially in Year 2
  • The ability to plan engaging lessons that meet all learners’ needs
