Key Stage 5 Teacher

Three Sixth Form Departments in RCT need Excellent Teachers qualified to teach KS5 in Business Studies, Sociology, Criminology, Psychology and Finance (You only need to have one area of expertise). The role begins 18^th January until the end of the year and to prevent teachers from having to go in and out of several schools, this will be a block booking until the end of July 2021.

You will be expected to support in pastoral and more general duties should there be gaps in your timetable, or, part time options can be discussed depending on your subject

Ideally, you will be familiar with online teaching as sixth form pupils will require more 1:1 mentoring and review rather than the mass teaching in lower year groups. If you are not too confident with this, then we will support with online safeguarding and teaching training

Sociology & Criminology KS5 position (Other Sixth form specialisms like business studies, psychology and finance are also desirable)

• Full time, on going position in Rhondda Cynon Taf
• January 18^h start
• Pay rate GBP138 + per day, depending on schools stance on QTS and Teacher Framework

NOTE: I work with schools and FE-only candidates who are paid framework rate and above despite initial discussion around FE qualified teachers not being eligible for this. This will not be an issue and the client-schools here see full value in the specialist and in depth lessons you will provide

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
