Year 3 Teaching Assistant Needed

Trafford, Timperley (WA15)

To start after October half term

Teaching Personnel are working with a larger than average Primary School in the Timperley area of Trafford to help with the recruitment of a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work within a Year 3 class. The school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work as part of team. You will need to have the relevant qualification or experience to work as a level 2 Teaching Assistant within a Primary School.

An overview of what the role would involve:

• Working with small groups of Children and implementing individual learning plans
• Supporting pupils with SEN and ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
• Establishing a good rapport with pupils and being a role model for the pupils in the class and the rest of the school
• Delivering boosters in Maths, English and Phonics for lower ability pupils
• Encouraging the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
• To cover whole classes occasionally in the absence of the teacher
