We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our friendly primary school in Burnley from November 2026 to cover a maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and creating a positive, engaging learning environment. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT with relevant Key Stage 2 placement experience, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning within a Key Stage 2 classroom, ensuring pupils are supported, challenged and inspired to succeed. Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents, you will play an important role in maintaining the high standards and welcoming atmosphere of our school.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Has strong classroom management skills
• Can plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons
• Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
