Job description

We immediately require Teachers to work at Primary Schools in the Scarborough area!

We are seeking talented teachers to work across through KS2 on a temporary basis, covering teachers for PPA, training, meetings, sickness and other absences. The role will be varied and flexible, but you will have access to various school in the Scarborough Primary School community and in the areas immediately surrounding. Most work will be arranged in advance with notice in line with your availability, but there may be occasions where we ask you to help out at short notice, providing this also meets your availability.

As a cover teacher at various schools, you will be comfortable working in multiple form entry schools in addition to mixed year group primary settings, have strong behaviour management skills and be keen to push progression and attainment.

You will motivate children and imaginatively use resources to help them learn. You'll provide a safe and secure environment for them to develop their social and communication skills, while recording observations and summarising their achievements. You should be focused on the development of the children to prepare them for a successful transition into upper Key Stages.

The ideal teacher will be passionate about children's wellbeing and attainment, keen to make positive relationships with the pupils to gain engagement and progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
