KS1 Teacher - September, Leeds (Belle Isle, LS10)

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Leeds based Primary school that are looking for a KS1 Teacher to join their school from September.

The school is in the Belle Isle suburb which is roughly 3 miles away from Leeds city centre with fantastic public transport links too. Graded 'Good' by OFSTED, the school staff work together to make the school a vibrant and inspiring place which offers the children a rich and varied range of experiences. They aim to open children's minds, offer them the opportunity to experience the rich cultural environment that we live in as well as letting children know that it is alright to make mistakes and that we learn by taking risks.

They are looking for a teacher with the following qualities:

  • Ability to create interesting and engaging class plans for a Key Stage 1 class
  • To actively encourage children's social and academic development
  • To allow all children the opportunity to reach their full potential in a challenging environment
  • To reinforce positive attitudes, values and beliefs
  • To develop independent, lifelong learners with active, inquisitive minds

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • Relevant experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • A confident approach and knows how to adapt well in different situations
  • Qualified Teacher Status (this role is open to all teachers, NQT, RQT, FQT or overseas trained)
  • Knowledge of the curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 relevant references that we can approach
