Junior School Class Teacher – Join a Vibrant School Community in Slough!
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full-time | Long-term | Potential to go permanent
Salary: £140 - £200 per day (depending on experience)


Teaching Personnel is working closely with a well-regarded Junior School in Slough to appoint a passionate, dedicated and creative Class Teacher for the new academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a friendly, supportive team within a school that places inclusion, wellbeing and achievement at the heart of everything it does.


‍ The Role:

  • Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons to a Key Stage 2 class

  • Plan, mark and assess pupils’ learning in line with national curriculum expectations

  • Create a positive learning environment that supports pupil development

  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and families to meet pupils’ individual needs

  • Promote a love of learning and help all children thrive


✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Have recent experience teaching in a primary or junior school setting (ideally KS2)

  • Bring energy, creativity, and a strong commitment to pupil progress

  • Have excellent classroom management and planning skills

  • Be eager to contribute to the wider life of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
